Dorte finds beauty in most people. In particular, she enjoy learning from and photographing people that have little or no voice in todays world and who will never make the news. The people are are often indigenous and live in remote areas and enjoy a traditional livelihood and lifestyle that is different from her lifestyle. Many of the people are affected by climate change, globalization, and other changes, which they have contributed little to. She travels with my camera to near and far places and photograph the poetry of life, including in the Arctic, deserts, and jungles.
